La Cornue Appliance Repair in Hedwig Village, TX
When Hedwig Village incorporated, it was the only Memorial village to take in a commercial district, so shops and offices share space with quiet streets near Memorial City. Storm outages there are the likeliest reason a range acts up.
Hedwig Village households in ZIP 77024 get La Cornue range, oven, cooktop and hood repairs from our team. A phone call or online form starts it; we ask for the label photo and confirm a three-hour window.
What Hedwig Village homes change about a La Cornue repair
Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach La Cornue diagnostics here.
Shops, offices and quiet streets together
Incorporation came in December 1954, and Hedwig alone among the Memorial villages absorbed a commercial district already in place. Shops and offices share its small footprint with quiet residential streets near Memorial City.
With commercial traffic close by, parking near a house can be tight, so we ask where our vehicle may stand. Tell us the access path, and say whether the kitchen is an updated ranch house or a newer build.
Outages from the 2024 storms
Storms in this part of west Houston show up mostly as power problems. Many homes went days without electricity after the 2024 derecho and Hurricane Beryl.
A mechanical La Cornue gas oven keeps working without power, but electric ovens, induction cooktops and hood motors can misbehave when it returns. Reset the breaker once and tell us what you saw, so we can separate a power problem from a failed part.
Hedwig Village is under a square mile, with shops and offices beside updated ranch houses and newer builds. That mix means access differs a lot from street to street. Send the model label photo, say where we should park and name whoever will meet us.
Because outages are the common storm problem here, we first ask whether the range lost power or only lit poorly. Then we read the flame at each burner and measure the oven against its dial, since a mechanical La Cornue shows no code. An electrician is the better first call if a breaker will not stay on, and your gas supplier if you smell gas.

My oven stopped heating after the power came back. What now?

Yes. We repair La Cornue cooktops, and we check the circuit and supply before replacing any part.
Is a 30-day warranty included?
Yes, repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty, and the price is written before work begins.
