CornuFé 90 (induction)
La Cornue CornuFé 90 Induction Range Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Large oven temperature against its dial setting
- Induction zone detecting a pan and heating
- Seal wear and whether the door sits flush
Pair a 110-liter vaulted oven, roomy enough for a large roast or two dishes side by side, with an induction hob, and you have the CornuFé 90 induction. No gas is fitted to the range at all, so the work is about heat, pan detection and power rather than flame.
The hob reports through symbols at each zone. We sort the normal ones, like pan detection and residual heat, from real error symbols, then try the zone that is not working with a pan known to be magnetic and flat. If that pan registers elsewhere and not on this zone, we test the zone and its supply. We never rely on the cookware alone.
The oven is read with a thermometer against its dial, and the door seal is checked for stiffness or a door that sits out of line. The model and serial on the label come first when we order parts, and a written price comes before work.
Key features
- One 110-liter vaulted oven, big enough for large roasts or two dishes side by side
- Induction hob only, with nothing on gas
Error codes this model can show
Why does one zone not detect my pan?
The pan may be non-magnetic, warped or off-center. We test with cookware known to work. If that pan still fails on one zone only, we test that zone's detection and power.
Does an induction hob need different cookware?
Yes. Induction heats magnetic, flat-bottomed pans, so a pan that works on a gas range may not register on the zone. That is why we test with a known pan first.
The oven is slow to reach temperature. What do we check?
We measure the cavity with a thermometer against the dial, then test the heating elements and thermostat, and inspect the door seal for heat loss around a door that does not close flush.
