CornuFé 90 Duo (dual-fuel)
La Cornue CornuFé 90 Duo Dual-Fuel Range Repair

Most common issues on this model
- Both ovens heating evenly to their set points
- Every gas burner lighting with a steady flame
- Door seals on both ovens, and how the doors close
Newest in La Cornue’s CornuFé collection, the 90 Duo dual-fuel fits two vaulted ovens and a roomy gas cooktop into the CornuFé body. Two cooking cavities share one cabinet, with a single gas hob above them.
Knobs control it and there is no display, so no code is shown. The gas hob comes first: we light each burner, judge the flame, measure gas pressure and look at the ignition and flame-safety device on any burner that drops out. Each oven is then read with a thermometer against its dial, one at a time, so any difference between them shows up.
With two ovens sharing a body, door seals deserve a look, since heat leaking from one door warms the cabinet around it. We read model and serial from the label before ordering parts, and you get a written price before work.

Do both ovens share a thermostat?
We test them separately because each oven has its own setting. If one cannot hold temperature, we measure it against the dial and test its own heat source and thermostat.
A gas burner will not heat. What do we check?
Whether the burner lights, the flame color and strength, the ports for blockage, and the ignition and flame-safety device. We also confirm gas pressure at the range.
Is a newer configuration more likely to have problems?
Not that we would assume. It is simply the latest CornuFé configuration, and we service it like the others, by testing the flame, ignition and oven temperature on your unit.
