This is the induction option on the 150 cm body: an electric-only hob of induction zones and large plates, with no gas burner anywhere on it. Below it the Château 150 carries two vaulted ovens, left one gas or electric and right one electric only, while the Châtelet 150 carries a single gas or electric vault oven above the largest heating drawer in the La Cornue range.
The knobs control the hob, and the symbols at the zones are its only language. Pan detection and residual heat are ordinary signs. A true error symbol is what we are listening for. When a zone drops out in the middle of a cook, or holds the pan symbol with the right cookware on it, we test the zone and its supply instead of guessing from the pan.
Ovens, or the oven and drawer on a Châtelet, are read with a thermometer. The model and serial on the label come first when we order parts, and you see a written price before any work.
