La Cornue Appliance Repair in New Caney, TX
New Caney began in 1862 as Presswood, then grew beside Caney Creek, the rail line and the route that became I-69. By 2010 roughly 20,000 people lived here, in older wooded-acreage houses and in new subdivisions near the Grand Parkway.
New Caney, ZIP code 77357, is covered for repairs of La Cornue ranges, vaulted ovens, cooktops and hoods. Reserve online or by phone, say what the flame or oven is doing, and you pick a three-hour window that suits you.
What New Caney homes change about a La Cornue repair
Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach La Cornue diagnostics here.
Creekside history and Grand Parkway growth
Ranches, mills and stores first lined Caney Creek, and the settlement spread out beside the railroad and the I-69 route. Subdivisions of recent years fill the Grand Parkway corridor.
The 77357 ZIP code also covers nearby small cities, so a street address matters more than the mailing name. Tell us the street and the age of the kitchen, and we plan the check of gas supply and hood around it.
High water near the East Fork
Heavy rain in May 2024 sent the San Jacinto's East Fork toward major flood stage. Rescuers in New Caney reached people stranded in cars and on roofs.
Homes in low ground by the creeks face that risk, and a range that stood in water may hide damage in its ignition parts and wiring. Tell us how high the water reached, and keep the range unlit until we inspect.
Older New Caney houses stand on wooded acreage, and newer subdivisions line the Grand Parkway. The 77357 ZIP code also takes in neighboring small cities. Give us the full street address, the label photo from the range along with any gate code.
On wooded acreage the gas may come from a tank rather than a line, which changes how we test the burners. We read the flame, the oven thermostat and the hood airflow, and you see the price in writing first. A gas fitter is the better first call for a leaking shutoff, and an electrician for a tripping breaker.

Our home is in 77357 but the city name is different. Do you still come?
Yes, 77357 is our ZIP for New Caney coverage, and neighbors like Roman Forest and Woodbranch share it. Give us the street address and we fix a three-hour window with you.
Our range has been off since the water went down. When can it be used?
Only after an inspection, because moisture can linger in ignition parts and wiring even after the surface dries. Keep the gas valve closed, and we check each part before lighting a burner.
What does a mechanical range diagnosis involve?
With no display or code, we watch the flame, measure oven temperature against the dial and check how the thermostat behaves. We then explain what we found and write the price before any part is replaced.
