La Cornue Appliance Repair in Woodforest, TX
Johnson Development planned Woodforest as a 3,000-acre community around the Woodforest Golf Club. Building began in late 2007, which makes most houses recent.
La Cornue appliances in Woodforest, ZIP code 77316, are in our repair area: ranges, vaulted ovens, cooktops and hoods. Reserve online or by phone and tell us what the oven or flame is doing; we confirm a three-hour window.
What Woodforest homes change about a La Cornue repair
Local housing, power events, water conditions, and installation styles all affect how we approach La Cornue diagnostics here.
Four builders and a golf course plan
Since the late 2000s, builders including Perry Homes, Highland Homes, David Weekley and Lennar have put up most of the houses. They range from family homes by Stewart Elementary to golf course lots and the Bonterra 55-plus section.
Builder kitchens come with standard hoods and gas stubs sized for the package, which may not suit a French range. Tell us your section and whether the range replaced a builder model, and we check fit and venting.
Builder packages and later gas cooktops
Stainless builder packages came with most homes here. Owners of the bigger houses commonly add counter-depth refrigerators, gas cooktops and front-load laundry afterward.
A gas cooktop added after the builder finished may share a line sized for the original layout, which can leave flames weaker than expected. Tell us what was added and when, and we compare pressure at the burners.
In south Montgomery County, Woodforest spreads over about 3,000 acres around a golf course. Its link to neighboring communities, the Fish Creek Thoroughfare, opened in 2009. Give us the section or street, any gate code, along with a clear picture of the data plate.
Newer builder kitchens differ by builder and by section, so details like hood size vary. We read the flame, the oven thermostat and the venting, and you see the price in writing first. A gas fitter is the right call for the supply line, and an electrician for a repeated breaker trip.

We live in Bonterra. Do you serve the 55-plus section?
Yes, it falls within ZIP 77316. Give the street address and we book you into a three-hour window.
Our La Cornue replaced the builder range and the hood seems too small. Is that likely?
It might be. We compare the hood's capacity with the range's burners and tell you what we see; a hood contractor handles any replacement.
The cooktop flame is weaker since we added a second gas appliance. Why?
A shared line can cause that. We measure pressure with and without the second appliance running and report what we find.
