Wider than its sibling, the CornuFé 110 hood is a traditional wall chimney design for the CornuFé 110 range: 1100 mm across, 650 mm deep and 700 to 1000 mm tall. Its motor has four variable speeds rated at 600 CFM, and three 20W halogen lamps and two deflector grease filters complete it. Recirculation kits are available. The telescopic smoke cover rises to a 1000 mm head height.
On a visit we run the motor through all four speeds, then raise the smoke cover to full height and check that it moves smoothly both ways. Each of the three halogen lamps is tested in its own position. The two deflector filters are checked for seating and grease, since a loaded or badly seated filter cuts the airflow the motor is rated for.
A hood this wide is heavy and hangs high, so we plan access first. We read model and serial from the label before ordering parts, and you approve a written price before work.

We run each of the four speeds and listen for a motor that hums without spinning freely. We check the fan wheel for obstruction and the motor itself before looking at the controls.
How is the 110 hood different from the 90?
They share the same motor, lamps, filters and 1000 mm maximum head height. The 110 is wider, at 1100 mm, to suit the CornuFé 110 range.
Do the deflector filters affect performance?
Yes. Grease build-up or a badly seated filter cuts airflow below what the motor is rated for. We check the seating and condition of both filters as part of the visit.
