Sized for the CornuFé 90 range, this chimney hood is a traditional wall design measuring 900 mm wide and 650 mm deep, with a height that runs from 700 to 1000 mm. The motor has four variable speeds and is rated at 600 CFM. Three 20W halogen lamps light the cooktop, and two deflector grease filters do the catching. Recirculation kits are available for kitchens without an outside duct.
Four speeds means four tests, since a motor can run on some and not on others. We raise the smoke cover to its full 1000 mm and watch for sticking or stopping short, then check each of the three halogen lamps one by one, because a single dead lamp may be a bulb or its socket. The two filters are checked for seating and grease build-up that can cut airflow.
